Clare Kennelly is the managing director of Inclusive World Training (IWT).

A graduate of University College Cork, with a BA in Spanish and Sociology and Higher Diploma in Education. She has worked for 30 years in varying teaching and training roles: ELT, post primary, further, third level and virtual inclusive education. In all these roles she worked with students with varying disabilities, neurodiversities and mental health issues. She noticed even though they were succeeding in education, they met obstacles when looking for work placement and employment.
Inclusive World Training was established to respond to the Disability Employment gap and support organisations in understanding "Disability in the 21st Century". The goal is to develop disability confidence in business, community and society and thus empower younger disabled people navigate successfully and overcome the obstacles. Clare is vision impaired and is personally and professionally passionate about disability employment inclusion and universal design.
She is the founder and presenter of the DisruptAbility podcast which is an educational and information platform for all stakeholders; employers, employees, professionals and parents/guardians. Interviews with disabled people, advocates and activists highlight the barriers and opportunities for employing people with disabilities in Irish society and beyond.
Clare’s professional goal is to make Ireland a leader in Inclusion on the global stage.
